Oct 27, 1933 - Oct 16, 2022 1 year ago October 16th, 2022, Marjorie Fitton (Simpson) born October 27, 1933 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, passed over and joined Bob together again. She was the youngest of 4 children and moved to Ontario in 1937 during the depression. Marjorie was raised on a farm on town line between Puslinch and Nassagaweya. She played on the Arkell girls baseball team and after graduating from high school, worked in an office as a bookkeeper for a couple of years. Marjorie married Bob Fitton and moved to a dairy farm in 1953 just south of Arkell. They raised 3 children Dave, Marilyn, and Bob where she enjoyed going to their sports games. Marj joined the Arkell United Church in 1953 and was a longtime member where she served on official boards in most capacities and was a life member of the U.C.W. (United Church Women). Marj was on the auxiliary of the Aberfoyle Fall Fair for a few years and she bowled for years on the Poppy City League where she won many trophies. Marj belonged to the Harmony Club where Bob and her enjoyed dancing for years. Marjorie moved to an apartment in Guelph in 2015 and then Riverside Glen where she died peacefully among friends and family. May you rest in peace Mom Love Dave, Marilyn, Bob and families do
