Passed away peacefully at the Parkview Manor on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the age of 81. Loving husband to Thea (nee Bauland) Reid and father to Kevin (Michelle). Predeceased by his son Brad, sister Marjorie (Jack) Berry, and brother Ernie (Sandy) Reid. Fondly missed by his cat Pokie, and grandpups Maggie and T. Murray was born in Toronto and his family moved to Guelph when he was ten years old. He continued to live in Guelph where he married Thea and they raised their children. Murray and Thea recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. They retired to Southampton in 2015 where they have enjoyed time with their friends and community. Murray was a character known for his love of animals, sports, playing pool, and his wonderfully delicious baked goods.
