It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our
mother, Donna Tessier (Williamson) on June 12, 2024, at Riverside Glen, with family by her side. She was in her 76th year and was a cherished
daughter of the late Helen Eileen Williamson of Guelph. Recently Predeceased by her husband, "the love of her life" Robert "Bob"
Tessier, who often and affectionately referred to her as "Donna Duck".
Donna is survived by and will be greatly missed by her beloved brothers
and sisters, Brian (Joyce), Bill (Sue), Barbara Adam (Billy) and Darlene
Porterfield (Don), and her dear sister-in-law, Anne Kinch (Richard). She
was predeceased by her beloved brothers, Dale (Jane) and Scott.
Donna's strong work ethics and compassion made her an amazing role
model and much loved mother to Ken (Andrea), Kelly Salisbury (Dustin)
and Karen McCormack (Scott). Her capacity to love was truly brilliant and second to no one, but it shined the brightest for her adoring dogs, Muffy, Murphy and Bailey, and her cherished grandkids, Jade (Tim), Alex, Ryan (Victoria), Matthew, Spencer, Hali, and Mal. She was incredibly proud of each of them. Donna will be greatly missed by her friends, especially Marilyn, Jackie and Annie and remembered forever with monumental fondness by her many nieces and nephews. She was a woman of many skills and would never back down from a challenge. Regardless of the task she would easily outperform but always with class and effortless grace. Donna was a bright light to everyone who had the pleasure to know her. She could always be counted on. Her big heart, quick wit, and the joy she brought everywhere she went will be deeply missed by all. All family and friends are invited to help us celebrate the beautiful life of Donna Tessier that will be hosted by her family at the Guelph Country Club, 133 Woodlawn Road East, on Saturday, July 13 from 12 - 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
