this is outrageous. so if i own a 3-family house in winthrop, does this mean i will pay $480 yearly for trash collection?! and why is it being done as a yearly fee, instead of through taxes, as town expenses are usually covered? what are other towns doing, and why has our trash contract gone up so much? i never got any notice, as a home owner, of any meeting, nothing. i am furious; this town is getting impossibly expensive to live in.
