Police have suspended the search for a missing plane that was carrying a couple and their dog nearly two months after it vanished. After more than seven weeks of searching, Tasmania Police formally suspended the operation on Tuesday, citing “considerable search efforts” that yielded no results. “A thorough review has been conducted on the Search and Rescue response, and no new search areas have been identified. “As a result, the search for the missing light plane has been formally suspended.”The couple, 66-year-old Kim Worner (left) and 72-year-old Gregory Vaughan, were flying with their dog when the plane went missing. The missing plane is described as a two-seater Bristell S-LSA in a distinctive light green colour.
