This has NOTHING to do with houses being built from wood and being close together, and EVERYTHING to do with having a volunteer dept. in an area with a population of almost 60,000, and them being too cheap to PAY for a full time fire dept. Even brick building are going to burn with a response time this slow. "They are built to burn"...BS. This is COMMON practice, and they are not "disposable"... What is common, is to have a FIRE DEPT. that will respond in a timely manner to prevent this from happening. Where is the leadership from the Fire Chief and the local politicians????
