My friends and I started getting into Queen in the 70s with the album Sheer Heart Attack and the song Killer Queen. The when A Night at the Opera came out, Bohemian Rhapsody was all over the radio and stayed there for several years - then it sorta faded away. In my opinion, you can't talk about the newish and continuing popularity of Bohemian Rhapsody without mentioning the influence the movie Wayne's World and Mike Myers had on it. After the movie was released, Bohemian Rhapsody shot back into the top 40s, was introduced to a new generation of fans, and has remained popular since.
