The bright fireball in this video was recorded on July 30, at 5:31 local time (equivalent to 3:31 universal time). The event was generated by a rock (a meteoroid) from Comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle that hit the atmosphere at about 220,000 km/h. The fireball overflew Córdoba (Spain). The event has been analyzed by the principal investigator of the SMART project: Dr. Jose M. Madiedo, from the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC). Its code in the SWEMN database is: SWEMN20250730_033148.
