He was close enough to discern, looking through his rifle scope, that the larger animal wasn’t a deer, but a pronghorn buck. Cook realized that the object the buck was dragging along was another pronghorn buck. ODFW sells just five hunting tags for pronghorn bucks each year for an area that combines the Keating and Pine Creek units.
