Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 19 (ANI): Assamese singer Zubeen Garg, best known for the song 'Ya Ali', has passed away after a scuba diving accident in Singapore. The Northeast India Festival also issued a statement, saying that Zubeen Garg suffered breathing difficulties during scuba diving. 'Deeply saddened by the untimely demise of our beloved Zubeen Garg. Former Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora also reacted to the news and added, 'Deeply shocked and saddened by the untimely demise of our cultural icon Zubeen Garg. Known for contribution to Indian music industry, especially his presence in the Assamese culture, Zubeen Garg also sang in the Hindi and Bengali film industries.
