Pamela Jean Aletky, age 70, of Jacksonville, TX, passed away on January 28, 2025. Pam was a kind, generous and playful spirit who never passed up an opportunity to be creative or embrace childlike joy. She was a friend to many who was always ready to encourage and celebrate others. She had a special gift for connecting with children, filling their lives with imagination and love. She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy; her sister, Sharon; her grandson, Shawn and her brother, Marty. She is survived by her mother, F.J. Horton of Jacksonville; her children and their spouses, Jennifer (Tommy) Hobbs, Paige (Howie) Foreman, Ronnie (Nikki), and Christin (Josiah), as well as her beloved grandchildren, Trenton, Tyler and Tessa. Pam also leaves behind her nieces and nephew, Casey (Jason), Shelby and Colton (Kalana), along with her great nieces and nephews, Alex, Brayleigh, Emilee, Chesnee, Bailee, Bexley, Avery and Logan, all of whom she cherished deeply. Family will hold a private ceremony at 10 am at West Shady Grove Cemetery on Saturday, March 1st followed by a Celebration of Life at Larissa House in Jacksonville from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
