Jerry Todd was born on November 30, 1956, to Fred and Berniece Todd and went to be with the Lord on November April 9, 2025.
Jerry worked at Panel Processing for over 37 years before his retirement. Known for his larger-than-life personality, Jerry was the heart and soul of every gathering, and always the life of the party. Whether it was cracking jokes as "Shaky," one of the original three clowns, or acting as the unofficial MC, Jerry brought fun and laughter wherever he went. Jerry was a frequent flyer at the Gator Gator Bar and the Drafthouse, where he could always be found enjoying a good beer and great company.
Jerry was a family man through and through. He never missed his daughters' games or any event involving his grandkids, nieces, and nephews. He always showed up for his loved ones, no matter what. Witty and sharp, Jerry could come up with the perfect comeback for anything. His laugh was unforgettable, and he had a way of making everyone feel special. Jerry was simply a great guy who made life better for everyone around him. He'll be missed so much, but the love and joy he shared with everyone will always be remembered.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and aunt, Cleo Hunter.
Left to cherish Jerry's memory are his daughter, Ashleigh Varela and husband Alex of Bullard; grandchildren, Gunner Vega, Nora Varela, and Zoey Varela; sister, Janis Killion and husband Bennie of Tyler; brother, John Todd and wife Christine Atkinson of San Mateo, CA; close family friends, Jon and Jaclyn Tyler and Jen Melchor of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
