Townsend Farm in Ross was one of three targeted by thieves with owner Ben Taylor Davies saying he had no intention of closing his honesty shop and letting the "minority spoil it for the majority." Also targeted were Merrivale Farm in Ross-on-Wye and Rosebud Meadow in Malvern. Madison Amphlett and Ewan Blight, both 20, entered guilty pleas to three counts of theft from a shop when appearing before magistrates. Amphlett and Blight had also stolen food, straws, a straw dispenser, a basket, syrups and beauty items worth £200 from Townsend Farm, Ross, on May 29. Farmer Ben Taylor Davies, aged 49, said his shop was "an honesty shop like a lot of farm shops."
