St Michael's Hospice announced on September 15 that its donation centres at Leominster's Station Road, Ross-on-Wye's Alton Road, Hereford's Whitecross Road, and Whitestone shops would be closed for the week. The closure was put in place to allow teams to sort through donations and get items ready for the seasonal changeover. And in good news for those who have been storing up items to donate, the hospice has confirmed that the donation centres will reopen on Tuesday, September 23. The spokesperson said that donation centres at Whitecross Road Home & Living, Alton Road Home & Living, Station Yard Home & Living, and Whitestone will be closed on Mondays going forward. The shops and Whitestone café will be open as usual on Mondays, and you can donate goods Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday to Sunday at Whitestone) during opening hours, they added.
