Sponsored by A&L Goodbody, this is the first time the prestigious event will be held virtually, and it is the largest event to date, with a total of 40 teams from 14 universities across Ireland and the UK taking part. Following preliminary knockout rounds of the competition which take place throughout the day, two teams will take part in the grand final, which will take place from 3.15pm - 5pm. The inter-law school competition is designed to give law students an opportunity to put their study into practice, giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their skills before prominent members of the legal profession. It's an important event in the Irish legal calendar, with the live final to be chaired by Justice John MacMenamin of the Supreme Court (DCU’s Judge in Residence).
