BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Swimming is prohibited until further notice at South Inlet Beach after the Florida Department of Health recorded higher than acceptable levels of bacteria. While the beach at 1100 South Ocean Boulevard is located in Boca Raton’s City limits, it is operated by Palm Beach County which will issue updates throughout the closure and report when it is lifted. While swimming is prohibited until further notice, the park and beach will remain open. This swim advisory DOES NOT apply to any City of Boca Raton beach parks. The beach may resume normal within the next 24 to 48 hours, but not until an official announcement is made by Palm Beach County and health officials.
