This article in the Guardian is so hopelessly biased and one-sided as to be barely worth comment. The art scene in and around Vyner Street is thriving, sure, galleries are moving out, it is always a fluid situation. But as some move out others move in, recent arrivals include Hada Contemporary, showing some stunning work from Korea, Press Play, showing new short films, etc.Galleries as varied as, Wilkinson, DegreeArt, Cultivate and some I don't even know about, all bring a variety and excitement, with interesting and challenging work, to this great corner of the East End.I wish good luck to the galleries heading west, I also wish them luck negotiating their next rent rise with West-End landlords.
