By BOB MARTINEagle Times StaffCLAREMONT, N.H. —Claremont Police arrested a local resident who allegedly opened fire at a pickup truck in a Glidden Street parking lot where there were multiple bystanders, as well as customers in nearby businesses. On June 13 at 5:15 p.m. Claremont Police Officers responded to a 911 call about a report of a shooting in the area of Broad and Glidden Streets. Responding officers found that a man, later identified as Torres, fired “multiple rounds” at a vehicle that pulled into a business parking lot on Glidden Street. Court records show that during the fight a juvenile fired six shots, and Torres allegedly hit him with a glass bottle. Police found that Torres assembled with multiple people in a public place for the fight, and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
