Pitta Patta Nursery in St Germans Road was initially told that it could not operate for up to six weeks from July 3 following an incident the day before. According to the nursery, the suspension is now lasting up to this Wednesday (September 24). Pitta Patta notified Ofsted on the same day about these matters, meaning that the provider met its legal responsibility. However, on July 7, it was concluded that some safety requirements were not being met and a welfare requirements notice was issued. A spokesperson for Pitta Patta said: “For operational and administrative reasons, the suspension was adjusted, running up to September 24.
