The section between Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, and Bexhill will be closed from October 25 until November 2. As a result, buses will replace Southeastern trains between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and Southern trains between Bexhill and Hastings for the full nine days. The closures will allow engineers to repair brickwork and upgrade drainage in two tunnels near the St Leonards Warrior Square station. "There is never a good time to close the railway, but we will have plenty of staff, and buses, to help passengers complete their journey."
