In the decisive fifth set, Iran surged ahead with a 4-1 run and maintained the lead to clinch a 15-9 victory. "The game was so tough, Serbia did a great job and pushed until the end, but we were here to win," Iran captain Morteza Sharifi told VBTV. Elsewhere, the Czech Republic qualified for the quarterfinals for the first time in its history.
