TEHRAN (Tasnim) The Tractor football team moved up to top of the 2025-26 Iran Professional League (IPL) thanks to a late 2-1 win over Sepahan Sunday night. Earlier in the day, Esteghlal was held to a 2-2 draw by 10-man Paykan. Kasra Taheri was on target for Paykan at the Shahr-e Qods Stadium but Milad Bagheri received a straight red card two minutes later. Esteghlal Albanian winger Jasir Asani leveled the score in the dying moments of the first half. At the end of Matchweek 4, Tractor sits first with seven points above Gol Gohar courtesy of superior goal difference.
