GOODY – Belfry overcame an early deficit to defeat East Ridge, 89-73, in the season opener played on Tuesday night. Austin Hager poured in 18 points to lead four Pirates (1-0) in double figure scoring. Isaac Dixon added 12, Brett Coleman and Sal Dean added 11 each.
