PIKEVILLE – Pikeville built a big halftime lead against Paintsville and went on to score a 54-22 win in the opening round of the 15th Region All “A” Classic tournament played at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Thursday night. Kelsey Jo Tackett finished with 14 points and Alivia Gearheart followed with 11 as the Lady Panthers moved to 11-3. Kirsten Cole-Williamson chipped in nine.
