ROBINSON CREEK – Pikeville won for the fifth straight time as the Lady Panthers captured the 59th District’s top seed with a 56-46 win over rival Shelby Valley in a game played at the Shelby Valley Sports Center on Thursday night. The Panthers, now 17-4, avenged a 10-point loss to the Lady Cats (13-7) in the All “A” Classic with the 10-point win. Pikeville will face either Jenkins or East Ridge in the 59th District tournament once the regular season is concluded. Kelsey Jo Tackett had 15 points and Kirsten Cole-Williamson added 12 as Pikeville built a double-digit, first-half lead.
