PIKEVILLE – Suddenly the University of Pikeville men’s basketball team has found its groove. UPIKE overcame a slim halftime deficit to earn an 80-72 win over Campbellsville in a Mid-South Conference game played at the UPIKE Gymnasium on Saturday. Luke Layhew had a big day with 23 points and 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double as the Bears moved to 18-7 overall. Jordan Perry led three other UPIKE players in double figures with 16 points. Korbin Spencer finished with 13 and DeAndre Barton totaled 11.
