PIKEVILLE – Pikeville captured its second straight 15th Region basketball championship. Letcher Central made its way through the 14th Region field to a title. Both advanced to the KHSAA Sweet 16 state tournament. The two eastern Kentucky programs finished 1-2 in the final Mountain Top Sports girls’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Thursday.
