Prestonsburg escaped a tight opening set and took control against Lawrence County and the Lady Blackcats cruised to a 3-0 victory at Prestonsburg Fieldhouse on Wednesday night. The Lady Blackcats, now 2-0, were led by Molly Boyd with 12 kills, 11 assists, seven digs and seven serving aces in the 28-26, 25-14 and 25-12 match win. Erin Akers had three kills, 18 assists and 12 digs while Aaliyah Jarrell added three kills and 12 digs. Jada Slone finished with 10 kills and five serving aces.
