University of Pikeville senior Boo Newsome earned a fifth-place finish and helped lead her team a third-place showing in the Roger Merb Invitational Tournament. Newsome had rounds of 81 and 82 to lead the Bears who shot 712 as a team. She finished two strokes out of fourth place and was named to the all-tournament team. UPIKE shot 356 as a team each day.
