The data here doesn't tell us much beyond – surprise – "younger men tend to be more violent". But most of the data is pretty crude; "young" often means "18-34". One huge risk factor is marriage separation, but it's not clear how causation runs here or if it runs at all. Bad relationships – surprise, again – create both separation and violence.
