Philadelphia-based indie pop band The Noisy first began as a solo vehicle for poet and singer/songwriter Sara Mae, but they quickly expanded the project’s line-up and stylistic scale. They brought together a full band and began pulling from a sprawling range of musical and visual inspirations, including dream pop, indie rock, country, spaghetti westerns, body horror, and drag.
