Leap24 UK, the company behind the project, recently unveiled the ultra-rapid charging station in St Albans Road, Garston, with town mayor Peter Taylor among those in attendance.

He said: "We are delighted to work with Leap24 UK to bring a state-of-the-art electric vehicle charging station to Watford.
The site has been transformed from a row of derelict garages into a modern, sustainable charging site.
Each bay offers a charging capacity of up to 300kW, enabling electric vehicles to recharge in minutes.
