Watford Community Housing (WCH) has explained its decision in a letter sent to residents of Abbey View and Munden View in Garsmouth Way. We are aware that blockages within the bin chutes are reported quite regularly and this incident demonstrated the risk that this can pose to residents." The bin chutes will be replaced with external bin stores at ground level.
