One Beyond opened its doors in a large unit in Trowbridge’s Shires shopping centre at 10am, Friday, September 19, after months of speculation. Photos from the opening show long queues lining up through the centre, as excited families lined up to cash in on bargains. Resident Ashley told this paper she was thrilled to be able to scoop the last of her Christmas shopping in the store. The Wiltshire Times reported that the site had come under offer from a mystery party in November 2024, and it now appears to be taking shape. The addition of another major retailer follows the opening of Dunelm to queues of hundreds of eager shoppers at 9am on Monday, June 23.
