United Utilities has officially awarded its major contracts for the £3bn refurbishment of Haweswater Aqueduct in a new funding and delivery model for UK water. The Haweswater Aqueduct is a 110km gravity pipeline that transports raw water from Cumbria to parts of Greater Manchester and Lancashire carries about 570Ml a day.
