No hike in regular bus fares in Telangana: TGSRTCThe Telangana State Road Transport Corporation clarified that there is no increase in regular bus fares. In an official statement on Friday, the corporation clarified that fares have not been increased across regular services and that revisions apply only to special buses operated during major festivals. To meet the rush, TGSRTC operates an additional 500 to 1,000 special buses per day, apart from its regular fleet. These special buses alone fall under the fare adjustment provision, while regular services remain unaffected, the TGSRTC said. For the ongoing Bathukamma and Dasara season, fare revisions will apply only to special buses running between September 20 and October 6.
