Urea stampede: Tribal woman farmer succumbs to injury in NalgondaPaathulothu Dassi, a 55-year-old tribal woman farmer in Nalgonda, died from complications after sustaining a leg fracture in a urea stampede five days ago. The stampede occurred five days ago when some farmers in the queue line scrambled to procure urea leading to her injury. Dassi was initially rushed to a private hospital in Miryalaguda and later shifted to another facility in Nalgonda for treatment. The body was taken to Gonyathanda, where her last rites are scheduled for Saturday morning. They had also visited Dassi during her hospital stay to offer support.
