Police said the victim was falsely told that a parcel in his name contained narcotics, police uniforms, and ID cards. Police said the fraudsters used multiple accounts to siphon funds, with Nikhil Tiwari’s account playing a key role. Investigations revealed that the bookie managed over Rs 23.5 lakh betting points, equivalent to Rs 23.5 lakh across multiple platforms. As per available information, the incident occurred when the truck was proceeding from Patancheru towards Hyderabad.
