Hyderabad: Chain snatcher held at Mehdipatnam bus stopA man snatched a gold chain from a woman at Mehdipatnam bus stop but was caught by an alert policeman nearby. Aleem suddenly came from behind, snatched her 15-gram gold chain, and attempted to flee. However, an alert local policeman in uniform chased and nabbed him within 200 meters and recovered the stolen chain. During interrogation, Aleem admitted he resorted to chain snatching due to financial problems and addictions. Shockingly, police had also found that he had watched YouTube videos on chain snatching methods before attempting the crime.
