Another BRS leader Pesaru Saraiah stated that the party cadres would prevent the MLA from visiting the villages in the constituency. The party cadres and the voters believed that if Srihari was elected he would stand by the people in solving their problems. The MLA should quit; face bye-polls on the Congress party symbol and show his mettle by winning the by-election, he noted.
