The boy, son of Lingala Anji and Harshitha from Papakkapalli village in Jammikunta mandal, was taken to Vavilala Primary Health Centre on Saturday, where he was given RVV-2 and Penta-2 vaccinations. The parents rushed him to a private hospital in Jammikunta, from where he was shifted to Hanumakonda hospital. Family members confronted PHC Medical Officer Dr Varuna, alleging the vaccine caused the death as the boy had no prior health problems.
