An initiative for animal welfare, the ‘Street Dog Puppies and Indies Adoption’ program was organised by GHMC veterinary wing. According to the GHMC officials, the programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from animal lovers, resulting in the successful adoption of 16 puppies into caring homes. The GHMC, in a press release, said the adoption drive not only gave these puppies a safe and loving future but also spread awareness about the importance of adopting Indo and street dogs.
