By Telangana Today Updated On - 21 September 2025, 09:59 PMMahabubnagar: Just as residents and forest officials heaved a sigh of relief after a leopard was trapped in a cage in the town, another leopard was spotted at Tirumala Dev Gutta hillock on Sunday evening. Locals reported seeing the leopard roaming on the hillock, triggering panic in the area. It had been regularly sighted by residents at various locations, including Tirumala Dev Gutta, Veerannapet, and surrounding areas, and images were recorded by camera traps installed by the forest department. After its capture, the leopard was shifted to Nehru Zoological Park for a health check and treatment, if required.
