By Raghu Paithari Published Date - 21 September 2025, 11:17 PMPeddapalli: A 47-year-old farmer, Bhukya Mallesh Naik, was electrocuted while arranging aluminium reels in his fields at Kothapalli village of Dharmaram mandal on Sunday. Villagers said Mallesh Naik, who owned a small plot and rented additional land for paddy cultivation, had intended to protect his crop from birds by hanging aluminium reels on the electric wires passing through his fields. Mallesh Naik is survived by his wife, Sunitha, two daughters, and a son.
