Govt to develop core urban city plan with focus on education, health and sanitationThe State government will launch a core urban city plan under Telangana Rising. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed officials to expedite development works for the same. Chairing a review meeting at the Secretariat on Monday, Revanth Reddy ordered immediate reforms in government schools within the core urban region. Revanth Reddy also sought development of Hussain Sagar as a world-class tourist hub, where parks will be redesigned with children’s play zones, vending zones for street vendors, and robotic cleaning equipment for drains. He instructed officials for strict enforcement of fire safety in high-rises and a separate management system for their water and sewage.
