The much-acclaimed and well-loved artist returns to the Shuswap on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Notch Hill Hall, with popular folk duo Blu and Kelly Hopkins. Describing himself as a “Notch Hill virgin,” Valdy will launch himself into a B.C. Before COVID pulled the plug on the annual Contenders tour, Shuswap performances took place at Carlin Hall, but as Carlin is currently unavailable, the show, with the same great music and warmth, moves to Notch Hill. Valdy says he is looking forward to being back in the Shuswap and performing along with Blu and Kelly. Valdy and the Hopkins play at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 4, at the Historic Notch Hill Hall, at 1629 Notch Hill Road.
