ELOY — A Maricopa police detective was among several law enforcement officers recognized Wednesday during an appreciation and awards dinner hosted by the Pinal County Attorney’s Office. Julia Stoltz of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. Pinal County Attorney Brad Miller told attendees at Robson Ranch that the evening was about recognizing the daily sacrifices of officers across the county. “The first big change an officer may notice is the weight of that duty belt,” Miller said. Miller said his legacy would “forever remain a part of Pinal County’s story.”“These are fantastic individuals,” Miller said of the honorees.
