Police say 38-year-old Samuel Finkley plowed through cinderblock walls in Rancho El Dorado hunting for his cat.
He pleaded not guilty this morning in Pinal County Superior Court.
Finkley appeared in custody as the judge set his next hearing for Oct. 20 at 1:30 p.m., an initial pretrial conference.
The court also ordered him to be fingerprinted and told Finkley that he is eligible for bond.
Finkley previously worked as a line cook at The Roost, a John Wayne Parkway sports bar that closed late last year.
