The lockdown was ordered “out of an abundance of caution.”We’re awaiting further details from Maricopa police and the Maricopa Unified School District. Last September, Maricopa police arrested a 14-year-old Desert Wind Middle School student following alleged gun threats described by parents as “sickening.”
