GLENDALE — Eleven days after his assassination, 90,000 mourners traveled to Glendale yesterday for Charlie Kirk’s memorial service at State Farm Stadium. The conservative activist and commentator was killed by a sniper Sept. 10 while speaking at a college campus in Orem, Utah. Some came from Maricopa, where Kirk’s Turning Point USA was energizing rural voters just a day before the shooting. A handful of Maricopa residents left Desert Passage at 4 a.m., while another group departed from the Province neighborhood at 6 a.m., heading to the memorial service.
